The Tarot Association of the British Isles has a strict code of ethics, from which we have derived our own:
-All readings are in confidence between the reader, the client and Moon Thirteen.
-All readings aim to help the client take charge of their own life and the decisions they make
-All clients will be treated equally and with respect.
-Moon Thirteen readers will be open minded, honest and non-judgmental.
-If it is appropriate, Moon Thirteen readers will suggest that clients seek the advice of a qualified professional (doctor, lawyer, psychologist or accountant).
-All fees will be agreed prior to the reading.
-When advice is given as to the type of reading a client should undertake, the advice will be in the interest of the client and not Moon Thirteen.
-If at any time a Moon Thirteen reader feels that they cannot complete a reading, they will inform the client tactfully, and offer alternative sources for a reading.
-Readings will not knowingly be given to clients under the age of 18 years without the express permission of a parent or guardian.
-Readings will not be given about anyone other than the client and questions relating to others ie partners, family members, colleagues or other third parties, will be rephrased or declined.
-Moon Thirteen readers reserve the right to respectfully decline a reading on any given day if they feel that the client is relying on the tarot to make life choices.

The UK Reiki Federation has a strict code of ethics. All Moon Thirteen Practitioners agree to:
-Abide by a vow of confidentiality. Any information that is discussed within the context of a Reiki session is confidential between the client and the practitioner. Important exceptions to this are when a practitioner learns of some proposed terrorist activity or the client intends to harm themselves or another person. In this case the appropriate authorities will then be informed.
-Provide a safe, comfortable, empowering and supportive environment area for client sessions.
- Always treat clients with the utmost respect and honour.
- Provide a brief oral or written description of what happens during a Reiki session and what to expect before a client's initial session.
- Be respectful of all others Reiki views and paths
- Educate clients on the value of Reiki and see that sessions do not guarantee a cure, nor are they a substitute for qualified medical or professional care. Reiki is one part of an integrated healing or wellness program.
- Suggest a consultation or referral to a qualified licensed professional ie a medical doctor, social worker or licensed therapist when appropriate.
- Never diagnose or prescribe. Never suggest that a client change prescribed treatment or interfere with the treatment of a licence healthcare provider.
- Never ask clients to disrobe(unless in the context of a licence massage therapy session). Be sensitive to the boundary needs of individual clients. Do not touch the genital area or breasts. Practice hands-off healing of these areas if treatment is needed.
- Be actively working on our own healing so as to fully embody and express the essence of Reiki in everything we do.
All Reiki Practitioners have a lineage which can be traced back to the man who re-discovered Reiki, Dr Usui.
Brambletyne and Aren both have the same Reiki master-teacher so their Usui Reiki Ryôhô lineage - which shows the link back to Usui for the Japanese Reiki techniques only recently being taught in the West - is :
Dr Mikao Usui, Kanichi Taketomi, Kimiko Koyama, Hiroshi Doi, Tom Rigler, Colin Powell, Heather K Ward.
We also have a Traditional Western Reiki lineage, which is how Reiki has been taught in the West via Hawayo Takata. It is:
Dr Mikao Usui, Dr Hayashi, Mrs Hawayo Takata, Phyllis Furomoto, Claudia Hoffman, Mary Shaw, Christine Henderson, Bruce Way, Carole Satchell, Colin Powell, Heather K Ward.
