Reiki Services and Distance Healing

What Reiki is...

Reiki is an energy healing system originating in Japan. Here in the West it is practiced by 'attuned' individuals who channel Reiki energy and direct it toward the client. This energy can be known as 'ki'. Ki exists all around us and is part of all living things. We believe that the proper flow and balance of this energy is essential to our health and well-being and it is when this flow is interrupted or depleted that illness can result. When Reiki is channeled through a practitioner to a client, the practitioner works with the Reiki energy to harmonise the energy flow within the body of the client, encouraging the body to heal itself on emotional, mental, physical and spiritual levels.

What Reiki isn't... -Reiki is not a religion, a cult, or a system of belief, nor is it attached to any particular religion or belief system. This means that it is open and available to anyone, regardless of whether they practice a religion or not. -Reiki is not a form of meditation, and it cannot be used to control the mind of anyone, be they practitioner or client. -Reiki is not 'faith healing' or 'psychic healing', it is a form of energy healing whereby energy is channeled from a 'divine' source, through the practitioner, for the good of those on earth. Most importantly, Reiki is not a cure-all, and should not under any circumstances become a substitute for orthodox medicine. Do not stop any existing medical treatment because you are being treated by a Reiki practitioner.
What benefits can be gained by a Reiki session then? Reiki can: - Relieve stress and promote a relaxed state of body and mind - Remove tension and negative energies - Aid meditation and positive thinking Assist us in reconnecting with our inner self - Help us to nurture compassion, both for ourselves and others - Create balance, harmony and a clear way of thinking - Accelerates the natural healing process - Ease the pain and discomfort of chronic illness - The most important thing of all though, is that Reiki can work on everything around us - humans, animals, plants and even machines. It can complement other healing systems, both traditional and alternative, becoming a partner with the use of prescription drugs and other medical care. What will happen... When you contact us for a Reiki treatment, we will ask you to fill in a short questionnaire, to ascertain whether you are a suitable candidate for Reiki, this is usually everyone but there are certain factors which may prohibit a Reiki treatment at a particular point in time. When you have filled in the questionnaire and sent it back to us, Brambletyne will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you to enjoy your Reiki experience. Everyone experiences Reiki differently, but there are rarely any negative reports. Some of the more common sensations include tingling, warmth, coolness, vibration, or pulsing. Some people also 'see' colours, shapes or images, and 'hear' music whilst being treated with Reiki. Almost everyone says that they feel much more relaxed and many people fall asleep either during or soon after a Reiki session. If you are having an in person session Brambletyne will contact you with what to expect and to arrange a time and place with you. If you are having a distance healing session, Brambletyne will ask you to choose a time that you wish to receive your treatment, she will then send Reiki to you at that time. We recommend that you choose a time when you can be still, quiet and comfortable, either lying down or sitting in a soft chair, and that you allow half an hour to an hour for the session.

Brambletyne never charges for distance Reiki sessions or general healing requests, however, if you feel that the service has been beneficial to you, we would ask that you kindly donate whatever sum you feel may be appropriate, as a token of appreciation for the healing you have received.
